The beginning of Sarbanes-Oxley was a boon for smaller CPAs as bigger firms were overwhelmed with making their public clients compliant. Of course, no one knew how long this effect would last. Remember those booths where people had a minute to grab all the flying cash that they could? That was my inspiration. |
